What I love about my job is helping people to understand their finances. Buying a mortgage<\/a>, insurance<\/a> or equity release plan<\/a> can be a confusing business, so I like to break information down so it can be easily understood.\u00a0After all, you can\u2019t make a decision if you haven\u2019t got a clue what anything means!<\/p>\n
Before moving into the financial sector I was a computer programmer so I\u2019m used to taking volumes of information and stripping it down into easy-to-digest nuggets. I gave up that job because I was spending too much time in front of a screen and not enough with people \u2013 which is another reason why I love what I do now.<\/p>\n
When I come to see you to talk about your finances, I take the time to get to know you. I\u2019ll ask lots of questions that will help me understand your current financial situation and your future aspirations. It\u2019s about me building up a picture of you and your financial needs. There\u2019s no hard sell \u2013 just lots of chatting over a cup of tea.<\/p>\n
By the way, I hold nationally recognised qualifications \u2013 just ask me if you want to see them. I\u2019m also a member of the Later Life Academy<\/a>.<\/b><\/p>\n
Want to know a bit about me personally? I live in Barton-le-Clay and I\u2019m a married mum of three grown-up boys. I love outdoor life and often spend weekends touring the UK in our caravan. At home, I\u2019m a real foodie \u2013 nothing makes me happier than cooking for my lovely friends and family.<\/p>\n
